LME copper <MCU3=LX> could consolidate between $6,500 and $6,560 per tonne for one trading session before breaking below the Monday low at $6,470 and head toward $6,318, the low touched on July 1.
Copper is temporarily supported by the lower trendline of a triangle and may bounce up to a resistance at $6,560 after its sharp slide on Friday.
However, chances are high for copper to drop below $6,470 and break the lower trendline, which would confirm the bearish triangle and a target at $6,318 could then be established. REUTERS |
